Mikefolios (What is a Mikefolio?)

Illustrating children's books is WAY harder than it looks; not only do the characters have to be consistent over all 32 pages of a picture book, the art has to create mood, a sense of place, and provide continuity of action. And the artist must do all of this in a way that will appeal to the age group the book is trying to reach.

My first rep was Harriet Kasak (now deceased), who knew just about everything there is to know about children's books. Currently, I'm being represented by her incredibly competent successor, Mela Bolinao (MB Artists, New York, NY).
